We believe that God has given the church a great commission to proclaim the Gospel to all nations. Our goal is to reach people across all ethnic and language groups with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ.
Our Mission and Theme
Calvary Baptist Church is a family of individuals who have put their faith in Jesus Christ alone for eternal salvation. Our mission is to encourage and equip every one of our church members to be faithfully active in reaching people for Christ, becoming disciples and followers of Christ, growing in their faith and their personal relationship with Christ, serving the Lord and others through our local church, edifying one another as the Bible teaches that we should, and magnifying the Lord in everything we say and do.
Our theme for 2026 is "Prepare My Heart." It is our desire that every church member examine their hearts and ask the Lord to give them a yielded heart, a humble heart, and a willing heart to do what He wants them to do, and to be who He wants them to be. As we walk with the Lord and seek His will, humbly asking Him to prepare our hearts to serve Him, God will lead us in His ways through His Word. Proverbs 16:1 says, "The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the LORD." God always equips and empowers us to do what He commands us to do. If we fully yield to Him, He will prepare our hearts to be who He wants us to be. Consider praying this prayer every day, "Lord, prepare my heart."
The Great Commission
"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." - Acts 1:8
As ambassadors for Christ, we are called to share the gospel both locally and globally. Our missions ministry focuses on supporting missionaries, sending mission teams, and equipping our members to be effective witnesses wherever they go.
Faith Promise Missions
Our primary missions initiative is an annual Faith Promise program. Through Faith Promise, congregants pledge financial support beyond their regular tithe to fund missionaries and ministries around the world.

Annual Missions Conference
Each year, we host a Missions Conference where missionaries from around the world come to share their work and inspire our congregation. This special event launches our Faith Promise program and gives our church family the opportunity to hear firsthand how God is working across the globe.
